Molly helped me work on a really tricky area at a remote cabin. She was able to work with map and pictures, and found solutions for me even with difficult ground conditions and wildlife concerns. I am not a novice to gardening, but had mostly worked with garden center plants, not natives. I was feeling very out of my depth and very sad about the ways my efforts in my tough situation had not worked out. After working with Molly, I feel a renewed sense of hope about getting some color at my site. Through the education Molly gave, and recommendations on where to start, I feel less overwhelmed.

Native plants are those that have evolved naturally in a region over thousands of years. They are adapted to the local climate and soil conditions, making them a sustainable choice for landscaping.
Native plants require less water and weekly maintenance and no fertilizer, making them lower maintenance than traditional turfgrass. They also support local wildlife, including pollinators like bees and butterflies.
I first assess your site conditions, such as sunlight and soil type. I then choose native plants that are well-suited to these conditions and plan your garden layout.
Absolutely! Native plants can adapt to urban environments and offer a beautiful, low-maintenance solution for city gardens. They help create green spaces that benefit both people and wildlife.
